Hoofbeats and Heartstrings

At twelve, my summers were spent bailing hay, mucking stalls, and riding. Joy rises up at the memories. Horses are majestic, powerful, and inspire awe when in motion. Their behavior is a clear reflection of the life they have led. Whether it is a life of work, or leisure, the bond is solid, and  sweet.
